Due to the ever changing climate, some of the Farm parks are already seeing births of Lambs, Kids and Calves, so it could be any time between January and April, with lots of Farm parks expecting new arrivals through the next few months.

Church Farm Feed The Lambs

Join us for lamb bottle feeding this spring. A unique and memorable experience for people of all ages.
A total of 10 people can bottle feed the lambs per session (each has a separate lamb).
The price includes Lamb Bottle Feeding for one person only (young children may have one accompanying adult in the pen to help them), remember Farm Day passes need to be purchased for all farm visitors (under two’s are free) in order to enter the farm and do this activity.
Farm Day passes include access to the farm, the farm trail and activity book, plus the woodland play area.

Meet and Feed our Lambs on our Farm Animal Experience!
It’s an exclusive opportunity to get up close to our little lambs, make up their bottles of milk and bottle feed them. You’ll be accompanied by a Jolly Farmer, and you’ll be standing inside our central farm animal pen in our Jolly Barn.
You’ll be welcomed by one of our Jolly Farmers and after a short briefing you’ll enter the pen. Our Jolly Farmers will provide you with bottles of pre-prepared milk and you’ll then give our lambs their feed!
Get ready to welcome some bouncy, hungry lambs and prepare yourselves for what may be a messy feed – spilt milk and, because these babies aren’t potty trained, maybe even a bit of wee and sheep poo!
This is also your chance to ask our expert animal care staff all about our flock. What milk do we feed them? How long is a lamb a lamb?
Your experience will last at least 20 minutes. It includes a souvenir cuddly toy lamb and a certificate signed by your Jolly Farmer to take home so you can remember your special day.
Important: Pregnant women, or anyone who thinks they could be pregnant, should not take part in the experience or be the supervising adult.

Mini Meadows Farm Lamb Feeding
Location : Naseby Road, Welford, Northants, NN6 6HZ
Join us this spring at Mini Meadows Farm for our lamb bottle feeding event and visit our other cute newborn animals in the baby barn.
Lamb bottle feeding will start from mid to late February and continue until mid-April, 7 days a week. We feed the lambs throughout the day, but in the first few weeks, we have a limited number of bottles per session (when the lambs are really small, they naturally cannot drink/eat as much).
Sessions last approximately 15 mins and we ask that you are at the lamb pens 5 minutes before your session starts. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Normal farm entry price plus £1 per bottle. Please note that it is one bottle per person as we are restricted on space in the bottle feeding area (one adult is required to accompany a child taking part in the bottle feeding).

Pennywell Farm February Half Term

One of the best things about February Half Term is the feeling of Spring in the air and the new life that it brings. We have already welcomed some adorable new Piglets and Guinea Pigs who can’t wait to meet you!
Guinea Pig Mummies Janice and Lulu along with Dad Badger have had the sweetest of pups and all of them are doing really well. Our Guinea Pig Nursery is one of the cutest spots on the farm!
With a new activity every half an hour you can spend your day bottle feeding our Goat Kids, hand feeding our herd of Red Deer, meeting and finding out all about our African Pygmy Hedgehogs and adult Pennywell Miniature Pigs.

Piglets Adventure Farm Lambing

Lambing Live! Experience the magical moment of lambing at the farm, with 20 mummy ewes expecting lambs. Meet the newest arrivals and look out for the signs of a new lamb on it’s way.
Lamb Bottle Feeding – We’ll have lots of hungry newborn lambs for you to feed this Easter. Pick up your special token on arrival with a session time and try your hand at bottle feeding, be sure to hold on tight!

Puxton Park Lambing Event

Come along and see the baby lambs and pregnant ewes. There will be a chance to bottle feed and hold the lambs and if you are lucky enough, you may even see one being born!

Rand Farm Park Lambing Live

Lambing season returns to Rand Farm Park at February half term, 11th-19th February 2023, they’re expecting their main flock of ewes from the farm to lamb.
Each ewe will be closely monitored by the farm team to watch for signs of labour and you’re invited to join them! Who knows, you may even see a lambing live.

Roves Farm Visitor Centre Lambing Time

Hurrah! It’s Lambing time again here at Roves Farm. This is a highlight in our farming year, welcoming new life on to the farm.
Spend some time on our viewing walkway looking out over the lambing shed as the day’s action unfolds. You may be lucky enough to see a lamb or two being born! Our lambing dates are:
3rd – 11th January, 8th – 11th February and 15th – 31st March
We have two flocks here at Roves. The first to lamb are the Poll Dorset ewes in January/February. They are very calm and friendly and enjoy all the attention they get at lambing time. Visitors can walk among them and get up close to the lambs. A unique and amazing experience!
Our second flock are the Suffolk cross ewes, who lamb a little later in March/April. They are more nervous than the Poll Dorset breed so not so easy to make friends with! However, you can still view them and their lambs from the walkway. Visitors can also help with bottle feeding some of the lambs when they are a few weeks old.
And of course, there will be all the usual fun on the farm with activities, indoor & outdoor play, tractor ride (from Feb half term onwards), Toddler Time and meet & feed the animals.

Snettisham Park Bottle Feed A Lamb

Lambing time is a great experience for our visitors. This year we had over 400 ewes to lamb.
All our ewes lamb indoors enabling visitors to see “lambing live”, as well as ewes with newborn lambs at foot taking their first steps – its a truly special experience.
Meet our orphan lambs and get to bottle feed them. This activity is wonderful fun for all ages and everyone can get involved.

Thrift Farm Bouncing Lambs

Our first little lambs of 2023 arrived 5th january 2023 ! Both babies and mum are doing very well! The ewe that gave birth was one of our cade ( bottle fed) lambs from last year. All 3 are in the display barn and you can visit them them from 7th January!

We Just know ‘EWE’ are going to have a Baaa-rilliant day at the Wroxham Barns Spring Fling during the Norfolk Easter holiday’s (1st – 16th April).
