Otter Experience Near Me
Shepreth Wildlife Park

Meet and greet the friendly otters and feeding experience. This is a non-contact experience, due to the high risk of biting.
You get to feed and train the otters over the wall of their enclosure alongside their keeper who will tell you all about them.
The experience lasts for 30 minutes. You have access to the rest of the Wildlife Park throughout the day too.

Wingham Wildlife Park

This animal experience takes place with the Otters – a species that lives in freshwater habitats such as peat swamps, forest rivers, rice paddies and lakes.
They are also very sociable animals, which allows for a great opportunity to meet them up close and personal, whilst getting involved with their care and enrichment activities.
As part of the Otter experience you’ll be able to help two of the keepers with the Otters’ daily activities, and really immerse yourself into the life of an Otter keeper by seeing what the keepers do everyday.

Be captivated by the residents otter family at the Oceanarium. Go behind the scenes and help with feeding time and enrichment exercises.
Feed the Otters over the stable door (you will not be in touching distance due to health and safety).

The giant otters at Longleat are a mischievous and noisy pair. Perfect company for a morning feeding experience!
Your keeper will introduce you to them in their aquatic habitat where you’ll have an opportunity to watch them play in the water, before moving around to their feeding area and getting hands on.
Although the giant otters are fed fish, in the wild giant otters are known to tackle some of the most fearsome and infamous Amazonian creatures including caiman, anacondas and even piranhas!
