Our Friday Street Farm team also hand pick punnets to sell in store, so if you’re short on time you can still enjoy that ‘just picked’ freshness.

Our strawberry varieties are chosen specifically for our climate to get the perfect taste.

We help them along with a lot of tlc throughout the year including weeding, watering and feeding.

All strawberries are on tables for easy gathering and plenty hang down for children to reach too.

Currently, the strawberries are not quite ready for PYO, they will update social media as soon as they are ready to be picked.

Goslings Farm

Gosling’s Farm is one of the largest P.Y.O farms in Suffolk.

With over thirty polytunnels filled with five seasonal varieties of strawberries as well as summer and autumn fruiting raspberries, you can pick whatever you want, whatever the weather.

Outside they have blackberries, gooseberries, red and black currants and blueberries and more, all at various times of the year.

Our delicious strawberries are grown on tables so picking is easy.

The varieties we grow are:

High House Fruit Farm

Our season begins in the spring with rhubarb and asparagus. Soft fruits (NOT STRAWBERRIES) start to ripen in June followed by cherries and plums as the summer progresses. Our main crop of apples is gathered in the autumn.

We grow Cox, Russet, Discovery and Bramley apples, as well as some heritage varieties including James Grieve, Worcester Pearmain, Blenheim Orange, Charles Ross and Ribston Pippin.

We sell all our produce locally. At our farm shop you can buy ready-picked fruit in season or, if you prefer, you can ‘Pick Your Own’.

We have an incredible range of Pick Your Own fruits at Hillfield. With possibly the largest range of fruit in East Anglia, there’s bound to be something you like!

Starting in May and finishing in October, it’s a great activity for the whole family.

Children love picking fruit and it provides them with an education of where their food comes from and how it grows – then you can take it home and eat it!

Our strawberries attract people from far and wide for a great day out picking in our fields.
